Those two words cannot convey the appreciation and gratitude I and the veterans’ service officers, the volunteers and the supporters of the Veterans Outreach & Family Resource Center wish to express to you and your other volunteers for selecting the VOFRC building as your community project for 2015. 

The improvements done by yourself and your volunteers, both to the interior and exterior of the building, have only reinforced our commitment to the veterans of Bennington and the surrounding communities to be THE place where veterans and their families can get help when needed, advice when asked, and feel comfortable to be among those who know what they have been through and appreciate their service to our country.

We especially want to take the opportunity to say thank you for introducing us to the four Iraqi/Afghanistan vets that were part of your crew. It is always a very great honor for us to say “welcome home” to any of our veteran brothers and sisters. 

But, like any other nonprofit, we always are in need of donations to keep the doors open. 

 Your generous donation of time and material goes a long long way to helping us make sure we will be here to continue our mission of ensuring that the benefits and compensation our brothers and sisters and their families have earned – and deserve. – are granted to them.  That has been our mission - and will continue to be the mission of the Veterans Outreach & Family Resource Center.
